Our Purpose:
In the parking lot of Second Baptist Church from 7:30-9:00PM making ourselves available to those driving by, in need of prayer,
every Tuesday night year round.
As one warrior has said many times, "The air conditioning is not that good in the summer and the heat is not in the winter, but you'll truly be blessed!"
Our Mission:
To reach those driving by and may not be in church. Those that are hurting and looking for comfort, becasue they are everywhere. To plant God's seed. If already planted, shed some water & 'Son' Light on it, to sprout. If growing, add some fertilizer and pick the worldly weeds allowing it to grow for God.
To pray for all of those in need on church prayer list and local, state, and federal officials. Most importantly, we pray for Revival of our nation, and as 1 Timothy 2:4 states, "That all men be saved and know the truth."
Our Growth:
God started this ministry by using somebody to make themselves available in a church parking lot at Second Baptist Church in Mount Holly, NC in August on 1998. Sometime after that the 3 regular guys started writing the names and events that were being prayed for. Upon retiring the first notebook 9 years later, they counted over 20, 000 entries.
We have seen God move on so many ways over the past 10 years, that it is apparent that it needs to expand way beyond Mount Holly, NC. We invite churches to call, let us tell you how it has done here. Watch God move in a great way!
Just imagine - every Tuesday night from 7:30-9:00PM, church parking lots with people writing names and events down in a notebook and praying for those, all over the state, country and world!
In Psalm 81:8-16, God is calling us to listen to Him. He has blessed this nation before and we are falling away. Let us not let verse 12 come upon us. Let us join together and pray that we walk in His ways (13), asking Him to subdue our enemies (14), and that we may be fed the finest wheat and honey!
