How to get involved and grow in your faith
1. Attend our Wednesday night service, The Source
The Source is our Wednesday night service and it's a time for students to come together and exalt His name. It can include any number of things like music, videos, drama and a challenge from God's Word. If you have a talent you believe God is wanting you to use during our Wednesday night service, please email Nicole or call her at 704-827-5181.
2. Link up with believers your age in our Sunday School small groups
Each Sunday morning at 9:15, we meet for small group Bible study in room 125 and room 121. Get to know other Christian students and experience the Bible in a new way!
Also, be on the lookout for personal discipleship opportunities through discipleship groups and mentors.
3. Check out our special events and invite your friends
We have other events and opportunities for students to hang out and meet new students as well as grow in their faith throughout the year. Some of these include summer camp, retreats and ministry opportunities as well as late nights and lock-ins. For updates on these events, send your name and address to Nicole to be put on our student mailing list.
4. Form some good spiritual growth HABITS
In order to grow in your faith, you need to form some good spiritual HABITS:
H - Hang time with God (devotional and prayer time)
A - Accountability with another believer (they got your back and you got theirs)
B - Bible Memorization
I - Involvement with the Church body (using your SHAPE)
T - Tithing Commitment
S - Study Scripture (learn it, know it, live it)
5. Get involved with the church body, and help to minister to the community
Are you a student who wants to use your time and talents to bring glory to God? Would you like to become a student leader? We will do mission projects and a summer mission trip during the year, as well as give students opportunities to be on ministry teams within the student ministry and church-wide.
